Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents at Westmont of La Mesa. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and mobility while maintaining a homelike, caring environment.

Responsibilities include helping with housekeeping, laundry, personal care, and ensuring safety. You will report changes to the supervisor and participate in maintaining licensing standards within the community.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass health screens such as physical, TB, and drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, and serving meals
• Assisting with personal laundry
• Assisting with showers, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation as per the resident service plan
• Keeping the environment safe and clean for all residents
• Observing residents for safety and reporting changes to supervisor
