Visiting Angels Corsicana is seeking a Housekeeper and Companion Caregiver to support local seniors in Athens, Corsicana, Kerens, Trinidad, Powell, Malakoff and surrounding areas. This role blends light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support and companionship in a compassionate, community-minded team.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate demeanor.
• Good time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethics and reliability.
• Physical endurance for home care tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Help clients with prescribed medications as needed.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility around home and to appointments.
• Support personal care and hygiene routines.
• Assist with routine exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to shopping trips.
• Perform light housekeeping so clients’ homes stay tidy.
• Provide a pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
