Job summary

Visiting Angels Corsicana, TX is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support seniors in Corsicana and surrounding communities. You will provide compassionate companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and help with mobility, transportation, and daily activities.

No formal experience is required beyond a high school diploma; we offer training in dementia and Alzheimer's care to help you grow, maintain safety, and enhance your skills while making a real difference in families' lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respectful and compassionate with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with prescribed medications (if applicable).
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises and daily activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients as able.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
