Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Encinitas, CA is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide hands-on care and daily living assistance to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.

You’ll work as part of a collaborative care team, supporting residents with activities of daily living while building meaningful relationships that enhance comfort and quality of life. No CNA license is required, and past caregiver experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider.
• Must be able to effectively use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job-related tasks.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing safety and well-being.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services and report changes to supervisors.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
• Make hospitality and resident satisfaction priorities in every interaction.
