Forest Hills Commons in Louisville, KY is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents with daily personal care and clinical-related services per each resident's care plan. You will perform grooming, bathing, transfers, vital signs recording, and safe positioning while upholding dignity, confidentiality, and respect for resident choices.

Qualifications

• Prior experience giving personal care to individuals in a health care setting preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Work independently with sound judgment and good decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents' care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in residents' rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption as assigned.
• Turn and position residents; prepare rooms with necessary items.
• Report to Charge Nurse at shift start and respond to call lights promptly.
• Respect resident rights, dignity, privacy, and choices; handle property with care.
• Refer to residents by proper names and seek assistance from the charge nurse when needed.
