Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living - Fort Pierre is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. You will assist with daily living activities, promote safety and dignity, and help residents feel safe, valued, and at home.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nursing and life enrichment staff, person-centered care, and ongoing training to ensure meaningful resident experiences. Weekend/holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must submit to a TB test.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, mobility, and transfers.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and comfort throughout the day.
• Record vital signs and observe changes in health or mood.
• Provide companionship and emotional presence to residents.
• Document care and report changes to nursing leadership.
