Job summary

Visiting Angels Santa Fe is seeking caring individuals to join our local team as Caregivers. You will support seniors with daily living tasks, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation in Santa Fe and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary awareness
• Respectful and compassionate; good time management
• Strong ethics and reliable
• Physical endurance to assist seniors

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
