Amada Senior Care Northshore is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist seniors with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship in the Lake Bluff area and surrounding suburbs. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, Errands, and medication reminders.

We offer flexible schedules and opportunities for part-time or full-time positions. Openings cover multiple roles including live-in and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in caregiving or equivalent
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
• Proficiency in caregiving techniques and safety best practices
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively
• Familiarity with home care systems and scheduling tools
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields helpful
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence in meal preparation for dietary needs

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and errands
• Escort clients to appointments and accompany them as needed
• Monitor and report changes in health status to supervisors
• Apply behavior management techniques when necessary
