Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is a premier senior living provider operating Ivy Park at Milpitas in Milpitas, California. The Care Provider will assist residents with daily living activities and support independence in a compassionate team environment.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, competitive hourly pay ($19.50–$20.00), benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Training is provided; applicants must be 18+ and pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including TB tests).
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
