Century Park Associates in the United States is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and mobility in our assisted living community. This part-time/PRN role requires patience, reliability, and ability to follow care plans, with shifts varying.

You will report to the Resident Care Director and help create a warm, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in senior services preferred.
• State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (as required by state).
• CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR certification required upon hire and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plan (e.g., dressing, toileting, hair care, bathing).
• Reads 24 hour log at beginning of shift.
• Makes routine rounds and checks with residents to ensure care needs are met.
• Assists residents with clothing choices suitable for the day’s weather; keeps clothing clean and stain-free.
• Assists incontinent residents; checks clothing and linens to keep residents clean and dry.
• Assists resident with ambulation using walkers, canes, wheelchairs, etc.
• Assists residents during meals and encourages participation in activities.
• Shampoos hair weekly if not done by beautician; maintains resident appearance.
• Makes beds daily and performs light housekeeping in resident apartments and common areas.
• Prepares residents for activities, meals, appointments, etc.; delivers meals and assists with setup/feeding as needed.
• Verifies residents are present for meals and checks on those not attending per plan.
• Reports changes in resident conditions to Nurse or Director; welcomes new residents and assists with adjustment.
• Assists residents with packing/unpacking and labeling belongings upon move-in.
• Compliant with infection control guidelines.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State)

CNA certification

Home Health Aide certification

CPR certification
