Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant may be required depending on state regulations.
• Experience: 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience with seniors preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) per care plans.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning.
• Assist with dining room services and document meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and cognitive wellbeing and report changes to the nurse.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake.
• Document care timely and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
