Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to support physicians in a clinical setting. You will assist with treatments, complete paperwork, and integrate the Mercy Philosophy of care and compassion in daily practice.

You will communicate with patients and families, provide patient education, and maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment. CPR may be required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, diagnostics and treatments.
• Current state nursing license.
• CPR certification or within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to educate patients and maintain effective relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and perform nursing procedures as directed.
• Complete related clinical paperwork and data entry.
• Communicate with patients, families, visitors and staff in a caring, professional manner.
• Operate clinic equipment and apply safety practices as required.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Knowledge of nursing principles and skills

Patient education and self-care principles

Clear communication with patients and staff

Ability to react in emergencies
