Job summary

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Sub Acute Unit on a PRN basis. You will provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality outcomes.

Required ADN with 2+ years of experience; RN license in state of practice; CPR/BLS within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP per unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience required.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care and administer treatments/medications.
• Document care according to standards and policies.
• Develop and execute patient care plans with Physician guidance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to performance improvement.
• Educate patients and families; advise on self-care and safety.
