Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: Telemetry experience preferred.
• Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: RN license in state of residence required; BLS CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and documents a written plan of care within specified timeframe.
• Performs patient interventions completely and proficiently and demonstrates age-specific competency for population served.
• Verifies orders for accuracy and appropriate scheduling of tests and procedures; manages pre-op data and consent forms.
• Follows medication and IV therapy policies, including patient identification and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Interprets diagnostic data and notifies physician of critical labs per protocol.
