Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments; assesses health care needs and formulates a care plan.
• Coordinates care with the care team and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, effective, timely patient-centered care.
• Works collaboratively with health professionals to determine patient needs and educate families; acts as patient advocate.
• Participates in education for patients and families and develops discharge materials; documents outcomes in the medical record.
• Maintains annual mandatory education requirements and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrates commitment to patients, colleagues and Mount Auburn Hospital; engages in professional growth and license renewal.
