Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals in patient care across various settings. The role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, educating patients, and maintaining accurate health records.

Required: RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Preferred: BSN or higher and 1+ year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of start date (preferred).
• Master's degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area (preferred).
• Specialty certification i.e. CEN (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
