Job summary

Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center seeks a registered nurse to collaborate with a healthcare team, monitor patients, administer medications, maintain records and educate patients. The role supports comprehensive patient care across multiple facilities in New Jersey.

Responsibilities include nursing care planning, vital signs documentation, and adherence to safety standards. Required: RN licensure and BLS certification; ACLS/NRP certifications and 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS and/or NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
