Job summary

Great Plains Tribal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Oyate Health Center (OHC) division. The RN will provide direct patient care in outpatient or urgent care settings, focusing on a seamless continuum of care and effective resource use.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, patient education, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes. Requires RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by any US State or Territory.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Oyate Health Center (OHC) patients in outpatient or urgent care.
• Perform comprehensive and/or focused assessments to develop care plans.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients to gain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Document observations and interventions in the electronic health record.

Education

Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
