Job summary

Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Indiana is seeking compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for all shifts to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants to ensure quality resident care.

The role requires current state RN or LPN license and CPR certification; English proficiency; prior long-term care experience preferred. We offer a supportive team and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current unencumbered state RN or LPN license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, as well as laws and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan the shift’s services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents and provide leadership to nursing staff.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge records and transcribe physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information and ensure care is provided accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
