Paradigm at Sweeny in Sweeny, TX is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our clinical team. You will provide direct nursing care and help coordinate each resident's plan of care under physician orders, while following facility policies and privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license in the state.
• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years' experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• Six months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Plan and direct the delivery of a resident's plan of care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Follow facility policies and protect patient privacy.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments and assist nursing supervisory staff.
• Ensure staff perform duties to nursing standards.
• Log off unattended computer workstations.
• Oversee nurse aides and communicate with nursing staff to maintain policy compliance.
