Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in a dynamic clinical setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and a wide inter-professional team to plan and deliver high‑quality care across the continuum, including patient education, triage and interventions, while adhering to professional standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• Possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and other inter‑professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilizes age and population specific standards.
• Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plans and coordinates care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Works within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.
