Job summary

Commonwealth Pain & Spine in Louisville, KY is seeking a licensed RN to join our pain management team. You will assist in the procedure suite, monitor patients, obtain consents, document in EMR, and provide post-procedure follow-up with a patient-friendly, safety-focused approach.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or Baccalaureate in Nursing, an active RN license in Kentucky, CPR certification, and demonstrate empathy, clear communication, and the ability to work with sedation under company

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Active RN license in Kentucky.
CPR certification.
Excellent communication and empathy in patient care.

Responsibilities

Pushing sedation in the procedure suite.
Reviewing patient information (name, allergies, procedure, prescriptions, medical history).
Educating patients on procedures, pre-operation instructions, and expectations.
Obtaining informed consents for medical treatment.
Completing charting in the EMR system.
Assist in preparing procedure rooms and patients for procedures.
Monitoring patient recovery and completing recovery documentation in EMR.
Discharging patients and reviewing discharge instructions.
