Job summary

MUSC Lancaster Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. You will provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and lead assigned staff while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with SC RN licensure is required; a Bachelor of Nursing is preferred. Some roles may require ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Crisis Prevention training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in SC or compact state.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience required.
• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members; collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care.
• Maintain patient privacy and a professional, respectful work environment.
