Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry – Med Surg seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with the care team and uphold patient rights and confidentiality while maintaining professional accountability for the care delivered.

Qualification includes graduation from an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) and an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with BLS certification either in place or within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must meet state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
