Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in occupational health, home care, or senior care preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and acute pain management.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform venipuncture and other procedures with precision.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide acute pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar EHR systems.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols to promote safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
