Job summary

Bedrock Recovery Center in Canton, MA is seeking Registered Nurses to provide quality nursing care for clients in an outpatient treatment program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, document care, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

The role requires RN licensure and CPR certification, plus experience with Substance Use patients. A 1+ year nursing background at a staff level is preferred, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and CPR certification.
• Experience with Substance Use patients.
• 1+ year of staff nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Observes and evaluates the physical and emotional status of clients and takes action where necessary.
• Prepares and monitors medications and treatments, and documents them in KIPU, our EMR system.
• Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Provides medical care to clients enrolled in our outpatient treatment program.
• Triage client medical issues and takes action where appropriate.
• Schedule appointments as needed.
• Documents client status on summaries, nurses' notes and other reports as needed in EMR.
• Develops curriculum and performs training for all DPH mandated education to staff.
• Assists and coordinates medical care with staff MD and psychiatrist.
