Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate care team across Iowa’s skilled nursing communities. The role involves direct resident care, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (IA)
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations
• Strong commitment to compassionate, respectful care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and other team members
• Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
