Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Joliet, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our caring team. You will direct daytime nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and administer medications as ordered by the physician.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan the shift's services, programs and activities with assigned staff.
Make reports and recommendations concerning shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to nursing personnel.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to meet residents' needs.
Monitor assigned personnel to ensure safety regulations in equipment and supplies.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including PHI.
