Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse RN to join the Patient Care Team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team from admission to discharge.

Candidates must be graduates of a School of Nursing, hold an active Louisiana RN license or compact license, and possess BLS CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or compact state license as Registered Nurse.
• BLS CPR Certified.
• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; communicate effectively with superiors and peers.
• Emotional stability and resilience; adaptable to change; decisive and foresight.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team from admission to discharge.
• Educates patients and families and documents appropriately.
