Responsibilities

• Performs thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Identifies and implements nursing interventions.
• Monitors and reports patient symptoms, status changes, and test results.
• Administers treatments and medications; informs on indications, dosage, frequency, and side effects.
• Obtains consent for psychotropic meds and seasonal immunizations.
• Coordinates care with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Educates patients on discharge instructions and follow-up care.
• Adheres to infection control protocols and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains accurate medical records with complete documentation.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
