Qualifications

• Must have current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Experience with inpatient behavioral health units recommended.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients, educating patients about mental and medical conditions, and providing emotional support.
• Record patients' medical histories, help perform diagnostic tests and operate medical machinery, and administer treatments.
• Administer medications and assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and families on managing illness, diet, exercise, and self-care.
