Job summary

Westside Oaks in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care on 12-hour shifts. Walk-in interviews are welcome from 10 am-3 pm and a sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

The RN will monitor patient progress, administer medications, provide wound care, and collaborate with CNAs and PCAs while maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to discharge planning and center surveys.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid RN license.
• COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of employment; accommodations considered per law.

Responsibilities

• Review and communicate with CNAs and PCAs to support daily patient care.
• Provide medications by mouth or injections as ordered.
• Complete wound care to improve skin integrity.
• Document care accurately in electronic records (Point Click Care).
• Monitor patient condition and communicate updates to families as needed.
• Assist in discharge planning and nursing service coordination.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents per care plan.
• Assist in regulations compliance and center surveys.
