Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, manage medical gas delivery, and oversee breathing therapy modalities. Join a supportive team focused on patient independence and community well-being.

You will perform assessments, develop personalized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to achieve meaningful recovery.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
