Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct patient care, administer medical gas and breathing therapies, and supervise treatments to support patient recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy, and medications.
• Supervise breathing treatments and patient assessments; create personalized care plans.
• Build relationships with patients, addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the recovery journey.
