Job summary

Dial in Boulder, CO is seeking a part-time Driver to provide safe transportation for residents to activities and appointments. You will transport residents to and from medical visits, ensuring their safety as they board and exit the vehicle.

The role requires assisting residents with mobility, maintaining schedules for monthly billing, reporting vehicle issues, and supporting the lifestyle team during outings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must have Class B or C CDL license, if driving applicable bus.
• Chauffer’s license, if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments and other locations, communicating effectively with residents.
• Ensure the safety of the residents as they enter and exit the vehicle.
• Ensure residents get into the building of their appointment in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist residents with walking aids when entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Maintain records of resident appointments and submit to office for monthly billing per established procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems/deficiencies of the vehicle.
• When necessary, assist the lifestyle team with activities during outings.
• Report any concerns of the resident’s well-being to supervisor or Executive Director.
• Participate in emergency evacuation drills and help assist residents to safe areas, as needed.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations and personnel.
• Other duties as assigned
