Job summary

Dial Senior Living in Boulder, CO is seeking a Part-time Driver to safely transport residents to activities and appointments with a focus on compassionate service. You will maintain safety, assist residents with mobility, document trips, and communicate clearly with residents and the office.

A valid CDL may be required for some buses; candidates must be at least 21 with a clean DMV record and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CDL license required if driving a bus.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments and other locations, communicating effectively with residents.
• Ensure the safety of the residents as they enter and exit the vehicle.
• Ensure that the residents get into the office/building of their appointment in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist the residents with walking aids when entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Maintain records of resident appointments and submit to office for monthly billing per established procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems/deficiencies of the vehicle.
• When necessary, assist the lifestyle team with activities during outings.
• Report any concerns of the resident’s well-being to supervisor or Executive Director.
• Participate in emergency evacuation drills and help assist residents to safe areas, as needed.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations and personnel.
• Other duties as assigned
