Luther Manor is actively seeking a Full Time Delivery Driver to transport nursing home residents safely to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities in Dubuque, IA. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and compassionate service while maintaining resident privacy.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. CDL/Chauffeur license and a clean driving record are required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Must posses a Chauffeur license/CDL.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Operate the facility vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Previous experience transporting seniors, residents, patients, or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience in a nursing home, assisted living, healthcare, or senior-care setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules and instructions.
• Must meet all facility and state requirements for transporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, hospitals, therapy, activities, and other destinations; assist residents entering/exiting the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment during transport.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain transportation schedules, mileage logs, and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, facility staff, medical offices, and transportation personnel.
• Provide respectful, patient, and compassionate assistance during transportation.
