Job summary

Riverview Estates Rehabilitation & Senior Living in Riverton, New Jersey, seeks a compassionate Resident Transporter to move residents safely to activities, appointments and within the center. You will work closely with nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support in a warm, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, monitoring residents’ comfort, maintaining a clean transport area, and ensuring confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and facilities within our center.
• Provide physical assistance and emotional support to residents as needed.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized transportation area.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
