Job summary

305 West End Assisted Living is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care, assist residents with daily living activities, and support their safety and comfort.

You will work under the supervision of the wellness team, follow care plans, escort residents to meals and activities, and help create a respectful, dignified home-like environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting elderly residents preferred, especially with dementia.
• Must be able to speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving their physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness areas to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Follow policies and procedures and directions from Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
