Job summary

Vita of New Whiteland is seeking a Full Time Food Service Attendant to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are respected and a welcoming dining atmosphere is maintained.

You will keep dining areas clean, support social gatherings, and help uphold high safety and sanitation standards while demonstrating care, warmth, and dignity in every resident interaction.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Completion of a ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 90 days of start date.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Serves high-quality, nourishing meals, snacks, and beverages to our residents in consideration of dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Prepares dining areas, providing a clean and welcoming environment for resident social gathering and meals.
• Assists in maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen while ensuring compliance to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction.
