Job summary

Holland Home in Grand Rapids (Raybrook Manor) is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to provide compassionate, person-centered care to our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, offer emotional support, and help residents maintain independence in a faith-based, caring environment.

The role requires English fluency, ability to stand for long periods, lifting up to 60 pounds, and passing a physical, drug screening, and annual flu shot.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Must pass a physical exam, drug screening, and receive an annual flu shot
• Clear background check required
• Availability for every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, transferring, feeding
• Offering emotional support and companionship
• Monitoring and responding to residents’ needs with attentiveness and empathy
