Job summary

United Church Homes seeks a compassionate Resident Care Assistant for Glenwood Community in Marietta, GA. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as directed.
• Accompany residents to appointments and supervise activities.
• Document resident status, changes in condition and care provided.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate medical records and charts.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care.
• Support residents to personalize their living spaces and maintain a homelike environment.
• Observe safety needs and follow procedures to prevent hazards.
• Assist with meals, feeding and hydration and monitor dietary needs.
