Job summary

Allied Terrace and Allied Services are seeking a Personal Care Attendant to assist residents with daily living activities, recreation, diet, and light housekeeping under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Duties are carried out in carefully selected situations with attention to individual needs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of PA aging standards training or equivalent experience, and a minimum of one year as a Nurse Aide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a training program that meets standards set by the PA Department of Aging; OR experience listed above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, recreation, dietary, and light housekeeping.
• Under supervision of the Charge Nurse, follow care plans and facility policies.
• Assigned duties implemented to meet residents' individual needs.
