Haven Memory Care in Gulf Shores, AL seeks a Resident Care Assistant for the AM shift to provide compassionate daily living support to residents. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, and social engagement, while documenting observations for nursing staff.

The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and individualized care plans, requiring teamwork with caregivers and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of resident care principles and safety protocols.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional conditions, reporting any concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents by following established protocols.
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures.
