All-American-Assisted-Living in Wareham, MA is seeking a compassionate Wellness Aide to provide personal care, supervision, and companionship to residents. You will help residents maintain independence, dignity, and comfort while honoring individual needs within service plans.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care
• Genuine interest in working with older adults
• Ability to follow service plans, safety procedures, and supervisory directions
• English communication, written and spoken, to understand care instructions and document services
• Prior assisted living or healthcare experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful and compassionate personal care to residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist residents with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers according to their service plans
• Provide meal assistance and support residents with dining needs when required
• Offer companionship, conversation, reassurance, and emotional support
• Observe residents for changes in physical condition, behavior, cognition, mood, appetite, mobility, or daily routine
• Promptly report changes or concerns to the appropriate nurse or supervisor
• Follow individualized service plans, care instructions, and safety procedures
• Provide permitted assistance with self-administered medication management after completing required training and demonstrating competency
• Document care and services accurately and promptly
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living areas
