Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents in our long-term care communities. You will assist with daily living, meals, and medication reminders as permitted by Ohio law, while monitoring health changes and reporting to the Charge Nurse.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts are scheduled as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Care and daily living support for residents, including personal care needs.
• Assist residents with meals and mobility as scheduled.
• Provide medication reminders to residents as permitted by law.
• Maintain current and accurate records using computers per standards and regulations.
• Attend meetings and in-service training; follow infection control and safety policies.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks for the unit; report hazardous conditions.
