Job summary

Niles Way Senior Living in Ohio offers compassionate care in a Certus Healthcare community. The Resident Assistant role supports daily living activities, social interaction, and recreation for residents, including dementia care considerations.

A temporary position with potential for permanency is available, with flexible scheduling for Part Time, Full Time, or PRN roles. Starting pay is $13 per hour, and benefits are offered after 30 days of employment, along with opportunities for growth,

Qualifications

Experience in caregiving or healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of personal care home operations and dementia care a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with residents, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs to ensure resident health and safety.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Engage residents in social activities to promote well-being.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within resident living areas.
