Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Resident Assistant / Caregiver to provide quality care and assistance to residents. You will help with daily living activities, support meals and mobility, and ensure residents’ wellbeing in alignment with policy and rights.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures, with opportunities for training and growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care giving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and assistance to residents in accordance with the residence philosophy and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Monitor residents and document changes in condition, reporting to supervisor.
• Support residents with meals, mobility, and daily routines as needed.
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
• Communicate effectively with team members about residents’ needs.
