Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within assigned unit and coordinates care planning.
• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics.
• Ensures safe, timely, and accurate medication administration, IV administration, and transcription.
• Maintains documentation that is accurate, timely, concise, legible, and compliant with departmental policies.
• Delivers education to patients and families and supports professional development of colleagues.
