Job summary

Channel ABA in Montgomery County, Maryland seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement plans developed by a BCBA and collect data.

The role offers competitive pay of $25–$32 per hour, paid training and ongoing BCBA supervision, paid drive time, PTO, flexible scheduling, and both full-time and part-time opportunities with room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification with BACB credentials.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental challenges is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes between client locations.
• Willingness to pass federal and state background checks; CPR/First Aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral data using electronic systems.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, and functional life skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs and caregivers.
• Maintain session notes and professional documentation.
• Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies.
• Attend required supervision, team meetings, and training sessions.
